Rooftile has important advantages over the heavier concrete and ceramic rooftiles which are prone to attack by mildew and fungus.

The lighter weight of rooftile can save on costs for the roof members and the supporting structure. Whilst the inbuilt resistance to mould and fungus can be very important.

Tiles are produced by way of pressing the prepared mix out of the above-described components.
